Cathy and Anne
Meet Integrated Health Care’s reception team
Cathy and Anne have each been with the office for over 20 years now. They have seen many amazing healing journeys and have seen a lot of our patients from birth and into adulthood. They are responsible for the smooth running of the practice. They are both highly efficient reception professionals who are super organised and very good at what they do.
Dr Bryan Hale
DC, MNZCA, Specialising in Applied Kinesiology
Chiropractor
After graduating from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1974 I returned to New Zealand and established a very successful practice in Raumati (South of Paraparaumu) for four years. I have never been satisfied with a singular structural approach to Chiropractic and Health, ie, manipulation and rehabilitation. My enquiring mind always wants to know how the body works and what made us unhealthy and diseased in the first instance. For 12 months I locumed for many practitioners in New Zealand, Australia and Canada to eventually end up in Vancouver for 6 years where I studied part time as well as practicing. In 1984 we returned to Christchurch where I have practiced since. Integrated Health was established in 1994 and after 25 years of searching, studying, self analysis, and the help from a few talented and gifted mentors I formed the “Hale Technique” as an entity. I am a lucky person in that I have passion in my purpose, which is the love for learning and understanding who and what we are. As well as a continued understanding of how my associates and I can help you change and move on to grow and be a better and healthier person.
Dr Belinda Hale
BSc(Psych), BAppSc(Chiro), MNZCA, Specialising in Applied Kinesiology
Chiropractor
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science at Canterbury University, I gained an honours degree in Chiropractic at RMIT in Australia. I feel very passionately about working with the Hale Technique and have experienced its benefits firsthand by being treated with it for 20+ years. I am at Integrated Health Care four days a week dividing my time between work and family.
Dr Jennifer Reynolds
RN, B.Chiro, MNZCA, Specialising in Applied Kinesiology
Chiropractor
Jennifer is the mother of young children, a caring and experienced practitioner having been in the health care profession for over 20 years.
Jennifer studied at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and comes to Integrated Health Care with high recommendation.
She works with the Hale Technique and is taking over Dr. Angela Steventon's practice and covering Dr. Belinda's Hale's maternity leave.
Dr. Mark Gabriel
BA, B.Chiro, MNZCA, Specializing in Applied Kinesiology
Chiropractor
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989, I began a career in the social service field. After 15 years in the mental health field, I undertook a course of full time study for 5 years to become a chiropractor.
I feel the Hale Technique is the most empowering and life changing technique for helping others that I can use. I am excited to be a part of the Integrated Health Care team and I greet each day here with enthusiasm, as I continue to help people to live fuller and healthier lives.
My wife Connie and I are originally both from Vancouver Island, Canada and along with our Kiwi daughter Emma, we are delighted to call Christchurch our home.
